"Volutomitra" is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs in the family Volutomitridae, the mitres.

Distribution

Worldwide.

Habitat

"Volutomitra" species are found in most seas, mostly in cold deep waters.

Description

The shells are ovate or elongate, with convex whorls, nearly without sculpture.
