Taron Lexton

Taron Lexton (born 29 June 1984) is a South African-born film director.

Lexton was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He graduated from LA Film School aged 19 years. Out of film school, he worked as an international videographer for several production companies. Over the course of 12 months, he clocked over 200,000 miles, filming in more than 20 countries.

After the Boxing Day tsunami hit in 2004, he was one of the first videographers on the scene, documenting the worst-hit areas of Bandar Aceh, Indonesia. His cousin is Mark Shuttleworth, the second-ever space tourist on space station Mir.
