Plot
It tells the story of a romance between a young drifter named Strip Harrison (John Travolta) and an older wealthy woman, Trish Rawlings (Lily Tomlin).

Critical response
This movie was wholly panned by critics and moviegoers alike and has never been released on home video in any medium, but a high-definition video master, suitable for a DVD and/or HD-DVD release, exists and has been broadcast on Universal HD. Moment by Moment remains a "camp classic," with a reputation sufficient to have prompted the Mystery Science Theater 3000 producers to try (unsuccessfully) to obtain the rights necessary to broadcast it and mock it on their show.[1] The film grossed $10,963,824 in the United States.[2]

Despite the film's poor reputation, its title song was a considerable hit for singer Yvonne Elliman in 1979.
