Athens Tower 1

Athens Tower 1 is the tallest building in Greece [ [http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=astreetnstower1-astreetns-greece Athens Tower 1 at Emporis.com] ] . It is 103 m (338 feet) tall and it was built in 1971. At the time of its completion, it was the tallest building in the Balkans. It is one of the two towers of the Athens Towers complex. It has 28 floors. It is located in the district of Ampelokipi at Alexandras Avenue. It is used by many companies such as Interamerican Bank and Emporiki Bank. The architect of Athens Tower is Ioannis Vikelas [http://www.emporis.com/en/cd/cm/?id=ioannisvikelas-astreetns-greece] , who also designed the main building of the Goulandris Museum of Cycladic Art.
