Mugalak

Mugalak! is episode 13 in the cartoon series Monster Allergy. Zick, Elena and Teddy go to find the Mugalak. They are going to get the Mugalak's breath to restore Zob's lost dom energy.

The episodes starts out as Bombo is creeping into Zick's room as usual to steal his shoes. Bombo succeeds and eats it only to spit it out again. The shoe that Bombo had eaten was Hiking Boots which made holes in Bombo's mouth. Zick wakes up with a victorious look on his face and grabbed his shoe. Jeremy comes into the room to see Zick putting on his clothes and hiking boots. Jeremy asks Zick what he's doing and that he has school. Zick denies and says that it was a school holiday that day. He pats Jeremy on the head and leaves.

The scene changes and we see Greta and Zob eating breakfast. Zick comes in and runs out quickly, saying that he and Elena are taking a hike through the park. A gorka is nearby and hears Zick's plan. It changes into a bird and tries to fly off before being attack by Purrcy who sees the bird and tries to catch it. The bird-gorka flies away and Purrcy got stuck in a tree.

Magnacat, who is still confined in a big container, says that because he is scared that Zob will return to his normal size, he will unleash a 'Big Bonz Eater' to attack Zick and Teddy to stop them from getting the cure for Zob.

Later, Elena and Zick get off a bus at park to see Teddy waiting for them. Elena gets upset by this and Teddy asks them about their plans. Zick tells him that Greta and Zob knows nothing about their expedition. Elena nudges Zick saying that they shouldn't be telling Teddy their plans as she plainly doesn not trust him. Teddy shows off a dombox he made out of bits of pieces of other domboxes from the Ancient Armory, especially for the Mugalak. Elena argues saying that Zick has his Universal Dombox. Teddy just plainly argues back saying that the Universal Donbox could not possibly hold a dragon and he doesn't want to fight the dragon again.

After quite some time, the trio finds the entrance to the dragon's keep. While looking for the dragon, they are attacked by the Big Bonz Eater. Zick and Teddy fight the Bonz for some time and Elena stood behind and watched. Elena noticed that Teddy couldn't hold on any longer and tells them to step back. Elena, with quick thinking, traps the Big Bonz Eater in a pile of rubble. Zick congratulates Elena but Teddy just turned and walked away.

Again, they start to look for the dragon. Elena screams as she saw the monster and is deeply overjoyed and scared at the same time. Teddy covers her mouth and tells her to keep quiet. The Mugalak turns around and the trio sees that he is the one that powers the geysers all around the park. Elena complements the dragon saying that so far, he is the most cultured monster she'd seen. The Mugalak smiles and says that there's nothing wrong with having a pleasant conversation with guest before devouring them. The Mugalak starts to attack the Tamers. Teddy raises his hand to fire dom at the dragon but Zick stops him.

The Mugalak, sensing weakness, grabs Teddy and tries to eat him. Zick tries to reason with the Mugalak saying that they didn't come for a fight and that they only came for his breath. The Mugalak smiles, drops Teddy and says that he would give them the breath in exchange for Elena. Zick immediate refuses and begins to attack the Mugalak with Teddy. Suddenly the Big Bonz Eater reappears and he and the dragon begin to fight. Elena sees this as good news as at least they are not fighting them.

The Bonz wins the fight and the Mugalak is knocked unconscious. Zick acts quickly and captures the Bonz in his Universal Dombox. Elena celebrates as this is Zick's 6th monster captured. Teddy just yawns and says that he is going to capture the Mugalak. Zick stops him and says that by capturing the Mugalak, they would spoil the park for everyone. Zick takes Teddy's donbox and takes some of Mugalak's breath.

Teddy surprises Zick by taking the breath for himself. Zick runs after him saying that he trusted him. Teddy just grins and says that he would still keep the breath but he couldn't have done it without them. Zick fires at the ground near Teddy. Teddy yawns and asks if that's all he got. Zick retorts and says that it was just a warning. Teddy fires at Elena, hurting her causing Zick to tackle Teddy to the ground. Teddy's grip on the dombox loosens and he lets go. Zick tries to use his glasses but Teddy takes them. He uses them only succeeding in creating a small avalanche. Zick grabs the dombox and Elena and he runs out of the cave.

Teddy is seen outside of the cave, his foot stuck between two rocks. Zick hesitates to help him but does anyway, saying that he still thinks that Teddy will be their friend someday.

Back in the Barrymore house, Zob's energy has been restored and the family is happy again. Zick tells his father about Teddy and we learn that Teddy's father, Terrence is also in need of the Mugalak's breath. Elena and Zick feels uncomfortable and goes to see Teddy. They give Terrence the breath.Terrence is also restored to his normal height.
