Giggs, also known as Hollowman, is a British rapper. He is of Jamaican descent. He is a member of Hip hop group Spare No 1 (SN1), which includes three of his brothers; Joe Grind, Spend, Gunna D and other artists Kyzer, Termz, Fem Felon, Tiny Boost, and producer Boomblast. Giggs' highly anticipated debut album Walk In Da Park was released on August 4th 2008 and is available in all major and all good independent record stores.

Gaining Popularity

Giggs is most well known for Track 9 also known as "Talkin Da Hardest". Before Track 9 not much was known about him or his music as his music was only popular in a small radius in south London which included Peckham, Croydon and various surrounding areas. When released, Track 9 gained popularity quite rapidly and gave him citywide exposure. At its peak, it was a popular song to be played at raves and social events and as the amount of times it was played grew, more attention was brought to his work before the Track 9 and moreso gave publicity to his upcoming debut album.He has also created t-shirts with his famous slogans on them as a part of sn1 clothing.

Musical Style

Giggs is known for his slow delivery somewhat similar to that of rappers from the southern part of America. This is coupled with a deep voice which is said to be the most recognisable thing about his rapping style. He is also lesser known for his occasional use of unusual references in his lyrics. An example would be "Daffy'd up" (in reference to Daffy Ducks black feathers) as opposed to the common saying of "Blacked Out" (meaning wearing all black). He also has a trademark grunt (uummmm) that is heard on most of his songs as well as saying a high pitched "geez/jheez".
