Prism Video Converter is a software video conversion tool produced by NCH Software Pty Ltd. The program is designed for accomplishing various tasks involved in home video production. In 2008 Iomega selected Prism Video Converter to be distributed with a new range of Media Centers world wide.

Features

*An expanded list of supported formats for converting among one another including MPEG 1, 2, 4, AVI (DivX, XviD), 3GP, DVD, VOB (MOV), RM, WMV, ASF, OGM and the more advanced formats such as H.264 and MP4.
*Converting and uploading videos for handheld devices like Apple Computer's iPod and iPhone, Sony PSP, cell/mobiles, Microsoft Zune, portable media players.
*Converting and transferring videos for external devices like Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft XBox 360 multimedia and gaming centers.
*Preset encoder options for video and audio for popular gaming and portable devices.
*Set resolution and frame rate of output files.
*Can be run from the command line for automation with other applications.
*Preview original files and output results before converting.
*Rip non copy protected DVDs.

Prism Video Converter runs under Windows 98/2000/XP/2003/Vista. A freeware version is provided (limited to encoding to AVI and WMV) and a 14 day trial of licensed functionality is offered.
