Russian Orthodox bishop, was representative to Metropolitan Peter, thelocum tenens of the latePatriarch Tikhon . He converted to Catholicism and endured eighteen months of torture, all the while refusing to recant. In 1935, he was shot at Moscow’s Butyrky prison.ource
