Einar W. Sissener (
10 February 1929 -22 June 2008 ) was a Norwegian businessperson, known as CEO ofAlpharma .His grandfather founded the
pharmacy company "Apothekernes Laboratorium" in 1903. Sissener took over the leadership of the company from his father. A sister company A.L. Laboratories Inc was established in the United States in 1975, and listed on theAmerican Stock Exchange in 1984. Apothekernes Laboratorium was listed on theNew York Stock Exchange in 1989. The companies were merged, and the name changed toAlpharma , in 1994. sport sailing , sometimes sailing on the boat of King Harald V. His own sailboat was curiously named "Al Cap One".In 2003, The Norwegian Supreme Court found him guilty of luring his brother and late sister's children after his father, wilhelm, passed away. Einar W. was then forced to pay a compensation to them. However, the compensation only included what the difference in price was in 1977, and no consideration was given to interest, interests interest or the missing growth in the stock price. [3]
He died at the age of 79 at
