We All Need a Reason to Believe is the second full-length studio album by American pop punk band Valencia. It was released in the United States on 26 August, 2008.[cite web|url=http://www.punknews.org/article/29284|title=Valencia plans August release|publisher=Punk News.org|date=2008-06-14|accessdate=2008-07-20] The album was the band's first on label Columbia Records, after their first album was released on I Surrender. It was produced by Ariel Rechtshaid, who has done projects for We Are Scientists and Plain White T's.][ An early review from AbsolutePunk.net writer Drew Beringer stated the band's 11 track release proved Valencia are "a band that can breathe new life into pop-punk".][cite web|url=http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=415921|title=Valencia - We All Need A Reason To Believe|publisher=Absolute Punk.net|last=Beringer|first=Drew|date=2008-07-18|accessdate=2008-07-20] ]The album title comes from lyrics in the second track, "Holiday". The album leaked onto the internet in its entirety, on August 17, 2008.
