Swynnerton's Plan

Swynnerton's Plan

Swynnerton's Plan was a colonial agricultural policy established in 1954 in Kenya. It aimed to intensify the development of African agriculture in the colony of Kenya. The plan emphasised the need to de-stock pastoralists and introduce grazing controls. K.M. Witsenburg, A.W.
