St. Peter's Church is located near Queenstown, Maryland. It is a prominent landmark along US 50, its brick walls unusually close to the highway. The original church was built in the between 1823 and 1827, but was substantially altered in 1877, re-orienting the plan of the building. The detailing was altered to a more Victorian-Gothic appearance with simple rose windows and Stick style trim.
