Andy Boss (born
April 20 ,1972 ) is a former American racing driver fromNarragansett, Rhode Island . He is the younger brother of fellow racerGeoff Boss . Like his brother, he began in theBarber Saab Pro Series in 1993, finishing 10th and 4th in series points in his two years with the league. He teamed with his brother in the12 Hours of Sebring in 1994 but the car suffered from mechanical trouble. In 1996 he made hisIndy Lights debut, driving in the first two races of the season but no other races. He competed in theBarber Dodge Pro Series in 1997, finishing 3rd in the championship on a single victory. He returned to Indy Lights full-time in 1998 but only managed 20th in points with a best finish of 4th atMichigan International Speedway . In 1999 he was able to improve to 15th in points, but still only had a best finish of 4th, this time atHomestead-Miami Speedway . In 2000 he again finished 15th against a weakening field of competition with a best finish of 9th.
