* Schirmer Books, a trade book publisher now also part of Music Sales Corporation
* Schirmer Books, a music textbook publisher split off from G. Schirmer in the early 1970s, and now part of Cengage Learning
* Schirmer Reference, a music reference imprint split off from Schirmer Books, now also part of Cengage Learning through its Gale division's Macmillan Reference USA imprint
