KDrive is a graphical web-based web-hosting control panel, designed to simplify administration of websites. KDrive's friendly user interface handles many complicated server tasks such as e-mail, FTP, and apache so that beginners can easilly create their own functional website without any problems.

Work started on KDrive in early 2008 and is expected to be released in the alpha stage by mid june.

Name confusion

Many peoplewho believe that KDrive stands for KopolokoDrive: it has been leaked on the company website that "K" is Keith Whelpton, the program's original author.

Version history

Licencing and use

The preliminary use of KDrive is limited to [http://www.kopoloko.com kopoloko] , the company has stated that it intends to release KDrive for use on other websites, but no more information has been given to warrant this.

Drawbacks

Userswho have complained about the lack of php support whilst using KDrive.

The security of KDrive has been scrutinised by several sources because of its open use of sessions, some people believe this to be an obvious secutiry flaw.
