"Felon" is a 2008 drama film about a family man who ends up in state prison after he kills an intruder. Plot

Wade Porter (Stephen Dorff) pleads guilty to involuntary manslaughter after accidentally killing an intruder and has to struggle to keep his relationship afloat as well as survive in an animalistic and merciless prison system where the rules of normal society no longer apply.
