E.E. Rehmus

E.E. Rehmus

E. E. Rehmus was a 20th century occultist, Classicist, author and translator. Rehmus wrote "The Magician's Dictionary", a pseudo-encyclopaedic work which invites the reader to re-evaluate some of the core building blocks of modern belief structures through insightful commentary on key words and phrases [Rehmus 1990] .

Rehmus also translated the Inner Traditions edition of Julius Evola's "The Hermetic Tradition" (1994, ISBN 0892814519).

He was actively involved with the quest to understand and expand human intelligence, himself being a member of several high-IQ support groups. Among these affiliations was his involvement with the San Francisco area Mensa society. Some of his contributions to that local society's publication, "The Ecphorizer", are still available online [Ecphorizer #41, 1985] . Rehmus was also a member of the Prometheus Society, another high-IQ society with admission standards even more stringent than Mensa's.
