This is a list of the Presidents of the Swiss Confederation in order of longevity. There are currently eighty six Presidents on the list and fifteen living Presidents. The list is in descending order and is correct as of date. The oldest president is Hans Schaffner (1908 - 2004), who died at the age of 95 years, 346 days. The oldest living president is Alphons Egli. He is currently age in years and days|1924|10|8 old and has held the title of oldest living president of Switzerland since 23 July, 2008.
