Shimshit ( _he. שמשית) is a national-religious communal settlement in northern Israel. Located to the south-east of Shefa-'Amr, it falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2007 it had a population of 2,400.

The village was established in the summer of 2000 with the help of then-National Infrastructure Minister, Ariel Sharon, as part of the "Galilee Progress" plan, and was named after the nearby archaeological tell.
