Set in 1954, Ferreux played Laurent Chevalier, a boy coming to terms with his burgeoning sexuality and his close relationship (which ultimtely leads to an incestuous liason) with his mother Clara (portrayed by Italian actressLea Massari ) at a spa where he is being treated for a heart murmur.
