Shankar's Virus

Shankar's Virus (also known as W97M.Marker.o) is a Polymorphic Computer Virus that infects Microsoft Word documents and templates. It was discovered June 3 1999. It is believed to have been brought into existence by a programmer named Sam Rogers who used Microsoft Word to create the Program. [http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080716135919AAPiVXG]

Effects

The virus hooks the Word event handler to close documents in order to run its code.
