Stephanie Diane Shaver (born 1975) is an American
fantasy writer andvideo game developer .She sold her first professional short story to
Marion Zimmer Bradley 'sSword and Sorceress series when she was 13. Her work has also been featured in variousValdemar anthologies, edited byMercedes Lackey .She is an active member of
Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA), the youngest member to ever join the association, and has also been a member of theAuthors Guild . She gives talks about being a professional writer atfan conventions such asDragon*Con and Archon. She worked for over a year at Marion Zimmer Bradley's "Fantasy Magazine", and worked on two "Fantasy Worlds" Festivals as part of the committee and the program book editor. She has done interviews with the likes ofTanya Huff andJennifer Roberson .Shaver currently resides in
St. Louis, Missouri , where she works as a game designer forSimutronics , having helped buildonline games such asDragonRealms ,GemStone IV ,Alliance of Heroes , and Hero's Journey.Works
