Norman Baker (born 1882 in

He was the inventor of the Tangley Calliope; [ [http://radiomak.org/OldRad/IAradios/Baker/index.html Norman Baker / Tangley ] ] he operated KTNT ("Know the Naked Truth"), a high-wattage radio station that moved to Mexico when radio regulators shut him down; [ [http://www.onthemedia.org/transcripts/2008/07/04/07 On The Media: Transcript of "The X Factor" (July 4, 2008) ] ] and for his relentless anti-medical-establishment attacks, at his "hospitals", on radio and in newspapers. This led to some labelling him a "quack" and eventually led to his conviction for mail fraud.References
