Sophist Productions

Sophist Productions is an event production company based in Long Island City, New York.

It uses branded entertainment to audiovisually and interactively entertain its audience, such as using music videos, special effects, live feeds from the audience and digital signage, while simultaneously delivering client key messages on-screen through the performance.

Its interactive on screen text messaging capabilities serve as the foundation for the company's flagship fundraising service, "Text-to-Pledge", which allows attendees to pledge any amount to a charity's cause using their personal handheld device. After being vetted, the pledge details are broadcast on screens, creating a social giving network. The program has raised upwards of $1 Million since its inception last year, including raising $330,000 in 15 minutes for the ONE Family Fund at an event in 2007.

Sophist represents a variety of clients, including ex-boxing champion Joe Frazier, fashion label Rocawear, and environmental organisation Global Green USA.
