Lound, Suffolk

Lound is a village in Suffolk, located a few miles to the north of Lowestoft.It is a traditional village set out in the marshland of East Anglia, Lound also has many village amenities, such as a post office and a village shop. Lound also boasts a garden centre.Lound also has many things you would find in an English village, including, a church,primary school,village pond and a village hall,constructed in the early 1900's. Another attraction of the village is the Lound water works, run by Essex and Suffolk water.

Lound is very accesible by road with the main A12 dual carrigeway from Gt Yarmouth and Lowestoft. Lound is signposted off the A12 just after Oulton Broad.Lound also has a bus route from Lowestoft. The route is 582, it is run by goldline minicoaches.
