Linda D. Addison is an American
poet andwriter of horror,fantasy , andscience fiction . Addison is the first African-American winner of theBram Stoker Award , which she won twice for her poetry collections "Consumed, Reduced to Beautiful Grey Ashes" (2001) [cite web |url=http://www.horror.org/stokerwinnom.htm#2001 |title=2001 Bram Stoker Award Winners |accessdate=2008-07-15 |date= ] and "Being Full of Light, Insubstantial" (2007) [cite web |url=http://www.horror.org/stokerwinnom.htm#2007 |title=2007 Bram Stoker Award Winners |accessdate=2008-07-15 |date= ] .
