Zana Krasniqi (born September 15, 1988) [ [http://www.fanpix.net/gallery/zana-krasniqi-pictures.htm Biography of Zana Krasniqi] ] is a model, and the first Miss Universe Kosovo since the state's declaration of independence on 17 February 2008. In her inaugural appearance she made it to 6th place. In this first appearance Miss Kosovo made at the Miss Universe peageant, much of the media surrounded the 'controversial' issue of whether or not she could be friends with Miss Serbia, Krasniqi and Miss Serbia did in fact befriend each other. Personal life

Zana Krasniqi comes from a background of entertainers including her father Naim Krasniqi, a famous singer in Kosovo [ [http://www.malesia.org/ex3a/misskosova.html Zana Krasniqi ndër 10 më të bukurat në Miss Universe] ] .
