This operating data is then feed into FireScope’s business analytics software offering and can be delivered to each user with his or her own choice of web display.

Zabbix copyright dispute

In July 2008, it was suggested on Zabbix forum [ [http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10155 Zabbix forum thread] ] that Firescope BSM product is based on Zabbix source code, and copyright information has been ripped out [ [http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showpost.php?p=35724&postcount=5 Zabbix forum post, detailing similarities] ] . After a week the conflict escalated [ [http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showpost.php?p=36169&postcount=17 Zabbix forum post by Zabbix developer, asking for legal help] ] to the point of asking for legal help. One day later, the dispute was supposedly resolved [ [http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showpost.php?p=36208&postcount=25 Zabbix forum post by Zabbix developer, stating that an agreement has been reached] ] , though there has been no announcement on the agreement details.
