Flex Your Rights

Flex Your Rights

Flex Your Rights is an American educational nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate the population as to their civil rights concerning encounters with the police to reduce abuses and unjust treatment.

The main material the organization has produced for this goal is the instructional film, "BUSTED: The Citizen's Guide to Surviving Police Encounters", hosted by Ira Glasser, past executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union. The film illustrates scenarios of police encountering citizens in various situations and how the relevant civil rights should be asserted in regards to the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendments of the Constitution of the United States of America.
