Anatole Krasnyansky (born in 1930 in Kiev, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian-American artist who has gained prominencefact|date=July 2008 by pioneering a new watercolor technique. Through experimentation, Krasnyansky's introduced paper texture into his creative process and made it a dynamic component of his watercolors, resulting in an expansion of the medium's potential. With this new creative process, Krasnyansky added texture and depth to the watercolor medium and expanded its expressive possibilities to a level usually associated with oil painting.Fact|date=July 2008

Krasnyansky received master's degrees in fine art and architecture.
