Vascotia is a Norway based Trance duo, consisting of the members Frode Kambo Nilsen (sometimes referred to as FKN) and Frode Røhne, better known as Lavizh. Vascotia was founded in early 2003.

History

At the age of 12, Frode Kambo Nilsen (born May 14, 1981) started to play instruments like the piano and guitar. But as soon as trance was introduced in Norway, he started collecting trance records and spend lots of hours listening to trance music. Quickly after that he bought his first syntesizer and started with producing music. After sending out some tracks, he met Lavizh through the internet.

Lavizh (born April 17, 1978) started early with producing. At the age of 14, he already discovered trackers on the PC. After a few years, soft-synthesizers were introduced, and Lavizh used it a lot. But even that wasn't enough and soon he bought his first real synthesizer. Producing more powerfull music with a better quality was possible now.

When they both met in studio, Calibro was the first result. DJ Precision got the track in hands, and now it's even featured on Misja Helsloot's Back From The Past compilation!
