Lisa Bowes

Lisa Bowes

Lisa Bowes is a Canadian sports anchor. She is currently at CTV Calgary and freelances for TSN.

She began her career as an editorial assistant at TSN in 1989. She later became a reporter for TSN in Winnipeg and Calgary. From 1997-1999 she was a Commentator for "SportsCentre" (then "SportsDesk").

A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, she made Canadian broadcasting history when she became the play-by-play voice for the National Women's Hockey League. While working for CBC's Sports Journal in 2004, she was nominated for a Gemini Award for best writing in an information program or series.
