Patricio Ginelsa

Patricio Ginelsa(born June 4,1976) is an independent film/music video director. He was an associate producer of the independent film The Debut. His first film, Lumpia was shot in 1996 w/ a video camera using local actors from Daly City. The film didn't get released until 2003. In 2004, he was hired to direct the Black Eyed Peas The APL song. There was a grassroots movement to get the video shown on MTV's TRL. The video is a tribute to the Filipino World War II veterans who are still waiting for their promised benefits. Actor Dante Basco plays the young lolo(grandfather) in the video while actress Joy Bisco makes a cameo appearance as a nurse, and Chad Hugo makes an appearance as the grandson. 2 years later, Patricio was hired to direct the group's 2nd tagalog language song, Bebot. He made 2 music videos of the song,one depicting 1930s Stockton,California and another set in 2006.
