"Ride To Hell" is an upcoming sandbox-style third-person shooter video game. It is being produced by the studio of Deep Silver (previously known as Rockstar Vienna), and will be published by Deep Silver as well. Development of Ride To Hell was announced on July 10, 2008. The game is set in the 1960s biker culture in the Western USA and will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. It is set to be released in the second quarter of 2009.

Premise

Ride to Hell follows the adventures of a man who returns from Vietnam and has trouble reintegrating into society. The conservative '50s are over, the hippie revolution has launched, and the horrors of war are still too fresh in his mind. He finds home in a motorcycle gang going by the name of "Devil's Hand". The game main goal is to survive and eventually reach the top of the gang, recruiting new members and gaining strength as a group along the way.

Ride to Hell is promoted not to be for the faint hearted. It's aimed heavily at the player who wants to become fully involved in the original West Coast biker culture. With its hard drinking, bare knuckle environment.

Production

Deep Silver uses a movie style production model to develop this game. This production method was announced when Rockstar Vienna was refounded as Games That Matter.
