Rees Howells (10 October 1879-12 February 1950) was the founder of The Bible College of Wales.

Howells was born in Brynamman in Carmarthenshire, Wales. When he was 12 years old he left school and worked in a tin mill and coal mine. He was affected by the 1904-1905 Welsh Revival.

He and his wife were later a missionaries in Africa. Their giving up their son so that they could go had a big influence on Keith Green.. [No Compromise, Melony Green] He was led down the path of intercession for many years, before seeing Revival across Southern Africa from 1915-1920.

In 1924 he founded the Bible College of Wales.
