Suzuki Jr50

The Suzuki JR50 is a miniature motorcycle with a 49cc displacement. It is designed for children ages 5-12, and has proven popular in both racing and recreational riding.

The JR50 is primarily a recreational riding bike. It is not designed for racing, but can be modified for more highly tuned racing specs. It has almost no compression travel, but in its stock form is capable of small jumps. In contrast to higher quality bikes with similar displacement, like the KTM 50 JR, the Suzuki performs relatively well for it's price. It has been in production for over 16 years and is highly reliable and easily serviceable. One of the features that makes the JR50 so easy to ride is it's single-speed automatic transmission. They have been noted for their ease of operation for younger riders. The Suzuki JR50 is even available with training wheels. It also offers a high level of customization. They are compatible with many 3rd party parts. Many great motocross riders have started out on JR50's.
