On the oricon weekly chart, it debuted at the number one, selling 1,208,230 copies on the first week, a Japanese record. It sold 2,308,790 copies, and the second best-selling song for the band behind Tomorrow never knows. The cover of the single is Kazutoshi Sakurai's face whose tongue was written "no name".
