Times Publications

The Times Publications is the highest-circulated family of free-distribution feature publications in the state of Arizona. [ [http://www.bizjournals.com/bookoflists/phoenix/ Phoenix Business Journal Book of Lists 2008] ] Seven monthly editions of the paper are circulated in communities including: Scottsdale, Northeast Phoenix, Glendale, Gilbert, Chandler, East Mesa and Ahwatukee. The total circulation of Times Publications is 125,000 copies, which are distributed at more than 3,000 free pick-up locations. [http://www.timespublications.com/aboutUs.asp]

History

The Times Publications was created in 1997 by former accountant Steve Strickbine. It expanded into other Arizona cities as circulation grew. Times Publications is owned by Strickbine Publishing, Inc. [http://www.mondotimes.com/1/world/us/3/5231/15900]

Awards

"The Times" has been honored with several Press Club and Arizona Newspapers Association awards for journalistic excellence, including more than eight first-place honors. "The Times" was also honored by the Arizona Newspapers Association as the first-place winner for Journalistic Achievement and Community Service in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
