Djendemtepe

Djendemtepe is the biggest and highest of the seven Plovdiv hills. On its top during the Bronze age there was a settlement andor a shrine. in Roman times there was the main city temple, dedicated to Apollo Cendrisseos, turned into church in the 4th c.
