Australasian Association of Philosophy

Australasian Association of Philosophy

The Australasian Association of Philosophy (AAP) is the main professional organization for philosophers in Australasia, New Zealand, and Singapore. The purpose of the association is to promote the study of philosophy in Australasia, as well as coordinate activities there, and with philosophers in the rest of the world.

The association sponsors the Australasian Journal of Philosophy (AJP), which is Australasia's oldest and most respected philosophy journal.

The association also sponsors philosophy conferences, prizes, and philosophy talks.

It's current president is Peter Menzies, of Macquarie University, and Graham Priest, of University of Melbourne is the current chair.
