Wellington Yang (
Traditional Chinese : 楊呈偉,Pinyin : Yáng Chéngwěi) is an American actor, playwright, and singer. He has starred in the Broadway shows "Miss Saigon " and "Aladdin ". Yang has also appeared in numerous television shows such as ",As the World Turns ,National Geographic Explorer " and "Ghostwriter". He is the founder and artistic director of Second Generation, an Asian American non-profit theater company. He is active in the Taiwanese American community and works closely with theTaiwanese United Fund (TUF)."Finding Home" is a musical concert tracing the story of his parents, which premiered at UCLA’s Royce Hall in 2005 and went on to play at Taiwan’s National Concert Hall and Vancouver’s Explorasian Festival in 2006.
In his work with Second Generation, Yang founded the "Concert of Excellence" to celebrate the achievements of Asian Americans in entertainment.
