Hermit's Rest is a structure built in 1914 at the western end of Hermit Road, at the south rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona, United States. The main structure of Hermit's Rest was designed by southwest architect Mary Colter. Hermit's Rest is the westernmost stop on the south rim and now contains a snack bar and gift shop.

It was one of four Mary Jane Colter Buildings that, as a set, was added to the National Register of Historic Places and declared to be a National Historic Landmark in 1987.

The Hermit Trail, a hiking trail that extends to the Colorado River, begins about ¼ mile beyond the shuttle bus stop at Hermit's Rest. Hermit's Rest also represents the western terminus of the Rim Trail.

"Hermit's Rest" will be closing on April 1, 2008 since the road to it will be reconstructed. For more information see: http://www.nps.gov/grca/parkmgmt/hermit.htm
