Early Morning (play)

Early Morning (play)

Early Morning is a play by Edward Bond, which was written in 1968. The play is one of the most surreal and satiric of Bond's works, and is at times horrific. The play takes place in a contorted version of the court of Queen Victoria, and Victoria is portrayed as a lesbian. Her two sons are made conjoined twins. This made the play extremely scandelous, as well as a scene where the character Len eats another person standing in a queue in front of him.
