Christian Cassar (born June 20, 1983 in Floriana, Malta) is a professional footballer currently playing for Maltese Premier League side Marsaxlokk, where he plays as a midfielder.

Playing career

Marsaxlokk

On July 8, 2008, Marsaxlokk confirmed the signing of Christian Cassar from Floriana, the midfielder signed a five-year contract with The Southseasiders, thus ending his five-year association with The Greens.

Cassar made his Marsaxlokk league debut against Qormi on August 24, 2008, and was replaced on the 56th minute by fellow new signing Claude Mattocks, who went on to supply the cross for Julio Alcorsé to score with literally the last kick of the match and secure a point for Marsaxlokk, with the game ending 1-1.
