Scott Pape

Scott Pape is an investment advisor, author and radio commentator who lives in Melbourne, Australia.

He attended La Trobe University, receiving his Bachelor of Business degree in 2001.

Pape writes a weekly syndicated column that appears in the Courier Mail, Herald Sun, Adelaide Advertiser, Hobart Mercury, Sunday Perth Times, Yahoo7 and The Daily Telegraph. He is also a radio commentator for Triple M, and a regular contributor to ABC radio.

In 2004, Pape wrote a book, "The Barefoot Investor", which was a best seller in AustraliaFact|date=July 2008. It has since been revised and is now sold throughout Europe.

He has most recently appeared as the financial expert on the SBS show "The Nest". In April 2008, he was a participant in the Australia 2020 Summit, held to "help shape a long term strategy for the nation's future".

Scott's website, www.barefoot.com.au, is a fantastic community website with comparisons and reviews of the best credit cards , best loans, best mortgages, best savings accounts, best investment opportunities, and sneaky deals.

As well as the great information the site also contains some fantastic calculators, including home loan repayment calculators, credit card repayment calculators, property buying calculators, personal finance calculators, savings plan calculators and more.

Scott has created barefoot.com.au to help those people who can't afford financial advice...and for those Barefooters who are too smart to deal with salespeople.
