Point Show

The Point Agricultural Show is a major community event that takes place in the Point district of the Isle of Lewis. The event is organised by the Point Agricultural Society and attracts several hundred exhibitors and approximately 3000 visitors across the day.

The Society

Point Agricultural Society was constituted in November 2002 and the founding committee began planning for their inaugural show in August 2003. The Society is made up of a variety of community members from throughout Point and they meet regulary at Aird Community Centre from January through to July. Their AGM is held in early December.
