Gizoo

Gizoo is an online gadget company based in Nottingham, England, selling toys and games, PC hardware and home gadgets. Gizoo was first established in 2002 under a different name, but rebranded to Gizoo in 2002 and extended its product range. This rebrand has included the introduction of an Eco Category with a range of eco friendly products.

Gizoo currently serves a customer base of 200,000.

Awards

On 24th July 2007 Gizoo won in the Small Business category in the Online Green Awards (OLGAs) for Gizoo’s environmentally friendly products and business practices.

History

Gizoo is owned by Serif Europe, a home PC software company set up in 1987. In 2002 Serif expanded its product range, which included a remote controlled desktop car that became very successful. After seeing how well this type of product sold the Serif owners launched a separate website in 2002 which was called Gizoo.
