Jennifer Marie Shakeshaft was born and raised in
Monument, Colorado . She is the daughter of Kenneth Shakeshaft, an attorney, and Mary Shakeshaft, a real estate broker. She is the youngest of three siblings. She attended junior high school andhigh school at Lewis Palmer. During her junior high days, Jennifer became a member of the school forensics team where she regularly competed in such categories as humor and poetry. This began her stretch of success and training in public speaking and performance. She found a love for performing at a young age, participating in local stage performances such as "Cinderella " or "The Sound of Music ". Jennifer excelled in sports as well and playedvolleyball throughout high school. She was known as theclass clown who would one day pursue the dream of acting.Following early graduation, Jennifer attended the University of Colorado for a semester. It was there that Jennifer met her husband Matthew Sipes. In 2003, Jennifer transferred to the
American Musical and Dramatic Academy inNew York City .Career
Jennifer moved to
Dallas, Texas in late 2004 after training in New York City at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. She quickly found work in all areas of the entertainment industry. Some of her commercial success included national ads forT.G.I. Friday's , Joe's Crab Shack,Nokia , and Pepsi Ring-tones. In 2006, Jennifer was cast as "Crystal Martin", a small town waitress, on the sequel projects ' [Imdb title|0804550|Walking Tall: The Payback.] and ' [Imdb title|0804551|Walking Tall: Lone Justice.] with Sony Pictures.
