Arizona Charter Academy (ACA) is a coeducational, public
charter school with its population largely coming from the cities of El Mirage, Surprise, Peoria, Yougtown andGlendale, Arizona . ACA provides instruction for students in grades kindergarten through 12th. The school's stated mission is to provide all students with purpose, character, and excellence in education through parental involvement, community collaboration, and career exploration. In support of the mission statement of the school, ACA provides preparation for post-secondary education and career success to all enrolled students. This is accomplished by the offering of rigorous coursework as well as classes in leadership, career exploration and preparation for college. ACA offers all [http://www.ade.az.gov Arizona Department of Education] -required courses in math, reading, Language Arts, technology and fine arts. ACA uses scientific research based curriculum, aligned to the Arizona State Standards in traditional classroom settings. The coursework provides individualized instruction at each student's prescribed level of learning and is also taught in small groups based on the student's ability level. ACA also utilizes computer-based coursework, Pathways Oddessy Ware, that provides personalized, character-based academic tools to meet the needs of the individual student. In addition to the core curriculum, intervention programs such as Title 1 and ELL are offered to qualifying students.

* Club Spike Enrichment Program- The purpose of the ACA Club Spike Enrichment Program is to provide a safe, educational and nurturing program designed to reinforce classroom activities and encourage exploration of extracurricular disciplines including dance, drama and music.
