Sciencedays

ScienceDays, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose flagship program is a mentoring network to foster scientific curiosity in elementary school students by engaging them in hands-on learning opportunities beyond the ordinary classroom experience. The program aims to create a national network of enthusiastic high school and college mentors who are dedicated to making a difference in their communities through promoting science education.

The program operates in the United States and is run entirely by students. ScienceDays was founded by Lucie Guo and Xianlin Li during their undergraduate years at Harvard University. The board of directors of ScienceDays includes Dudley R. Herschbach. The organization was the recipient of a grant from the Siemens Foundation and a Plum Grant from Do Something.
